Olivier Barret

Managing Partner

Olivier started his career at JP Morgan and joined Morgan Stanley in London in 1995 initially in the M&A department, moving a year later to the Media and Communications group. In 2007, Olivier became Deputy Head of Investment Banking for France, Directeur Général of Morgan Stanley France with senior coverage responsibilities for numerous French corporates and financial sponsors. In 2009, Olivier joined Credit Suisse in Paris as Co-head of Investment Banking for France, Belgium and Luxembourg. In 2012, he founded Sycomore Corporate Finance together with Pierre-Arnaud and François.

Olivier has a longstanding experience of the TMT, Consumer & Retail and Healthcare sectors as well as private equity & family offices segments. Over his career, he developed vast knowledge in all products of investment banking including M&A, IPOs, corporate & leveraged finance, financial restructuring and capital raising.

Olivier holds a master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) and an MBA from INSEAD.

Pierre-Arnaud de Lacharrière

Managing Partner

Pierre-Arnaud started his career in investment banking at Clinvest (Crédit Lyonnais Group) in 1993 in Paris. In 1997, he was promoted Vice-President in charge of transatlantic transactions based in New York before being named Head of Utilities and Transport in 1999 back in Paris. In 2001, Pierre-Arnaud joined Hawkpoint Partners and contributed to the creation and development of the Paris office. At Hawkpoint, Pierre-Arnaud mainly focused on private equity transactions while advising either private equity funds or LBO senior management. In 2012, he founded Sycomore Corporate Finance together with Olivier and François.

Pierre-Arnaud has a longstanding experience of the private equity sector while advising in numerous transactions over the last 15 years, whether buy-side, sell-side or alongside senior management.

Pierre-Arnaud is a graduate from ESSEC Business School, holds an MA in Computer Science from University Paris Dauphine and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from University Paris René Descartes

François Vigne

Managing Partner

François started his investment banking career in 1995 at CCF Charterhouse, mainly focusing on M&A transactions involving publicly-listed companies and IPOs. In 1999, François joined Credit Agricole Global Investment Banking where he became Global Head of the Global Building Materials, Construction & Chemical sector. In 2010, Francois joined Société Générale Corporate Finance as Deputy Head of Global Industries and Head of Global Building Materials & Construction. In 2012, he founded Sycomore Corporate Finance together with Pierre-Arnaud and Olivier.

In these various positions, François has advised on numerous transactions for a wide number of mid to large corporations in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the United States. Also, François has originated and completed a large number of advisory assignments with a strong focus on cross-border transaction.

François is a graduate from Sciences-Po Paris, ESSEC Business School and is a French qualified attorney (Ecole Française du Barreau)

Tristan Dupont

Managing Director

Tristan started his career in London in 2004 at JPMorgan as a Summer Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group. In 2005, he joined Morgan Stanley in Paris as an Analyst in the IBD department where he mainly focused on M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side), ECM operations (IPOs, rights issues…) as well as structured financings for large French corporates. In 2009, Tristan joined Credit Suisse in Paris as an Associate in the Investment Banking division. As such, he participated to several strategic transactions for large corporate clients such as EDF, Total or CMA CGM. In 2012, he joined Sycomore Corporate Finance as Director where he focused on large cap transactions.

Over the years, Tristan has developed a strong expertise in management advisory, LBO transactions and complex M&A assignments while demonstrating a solid industry knowledge with established top management relationships notably in the Construction Materials, Infrastructures, HealthCare and TMT sectors.

Tristan is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.

Mofdi Gassoumi

Managing Director

Mofdi started his career in M&A at Marceau Investissements and Baird International. He then joined Salustro Reydel/KPMG Corporate Finance in valuation and M&A – financial institutions and listed companies

In 2007, he joined Houlihan Lokey in Paris and in London where he was involved in special situations, restructuring and distress valuation. In 2012 he joined Degroof Petercam Investment Banking where he developed the capital structure advisory and led the special situation practices. In 2019, Mofdi joined Sycomore Corporate Finance as a Managing Director

Mofdi has longstanding experience in advising companies in their capital structure, in their financing or restructuring – Yeled Invest / Orchestra Prémaman (2018), CGG (2018), Eolane (2017), Vallourec (2016), Ludendo (2015), Doux (2015), Biogroup LCD (2015), Foncière Oppidum (2015), Financière Quick (2014), Technicolor (2010), Infogrames (2008), Diana Ingrédients (2008) Eurotunnel (2007)

Mofdi graduated from HEC Paris (finance). He contributed editions of “Finance d’entreprise – Pierre Vernimmen” and was a lecturer at ESCP-EAP and Paris-Dauphine University

Laurent Bricco

Managing Director

Laurent embarked on his professional journey in 2010, commencing his career in Paris as a member of the Telecom & Technology team at Lazard

He engaged in a diverse range of transactions, encompassing both public and private sectors, as well as domestic and cross-border acquisitions, mergers, and carve-outs

In 2014, Laurent joined Sycomore Corporate Finance as an Associate and swiftly ascended to the position of Managing Director, thanks to his contributions and dedication to the firm’s development

Throughout his career, Laurent has amassed extensive experience by participating in over 40 transactions spanning various sectors, such as building materials, business services, consumer goods, technology, and telecommunications, etc. He had the opportunity to advise a wide range of clients including entrepreneurs, management teams, gobal corporate and private equity sponsors. Laurent has been involved in transactions of various sizes in the mid-to-large segment, both in France and abroad

Laurent is a graduate from emlyon business school
